DiscloseMate Product Guard accesses Shopify product data only to audit, preview, apply, and undo changes to the native shopify.disclosure product metafield and to list and create disclosure metaobject entries that the merchant selects or authors.

Data we process

The app stores the shop identity (canonical domain and immutable Shopify Shop GID), Shopify session records, merchant-defined rules, catalog audit summaries, temporary product title snapshots, disclosure references and merchant-confirmed disclosure snapshots, job and row-level evidence, durable mutation attempts, the billing entitlement result, and operational usage aggregates.

Customer data

The app does not request or process protected customer data, order data, checkout data, payment data, shipping data, theme data, or product images. It does not send data to an external analytics provider.

Retention

Apply and undo job evidence is retained for 7 days on the Free plan and 90 days on the Pro plan; the retention deadline is frozen when a job is confirmed and a plan downgrade never shortens it. Incomplete previews and collection-membership data expire 24 hours after the preview is created and are deleted on a recurring, best-effort schedule shortly after expiry (typically within 24 hours). Expired records are excluded from every read and access path immediately, whether or not the scheduled deletion has run yet. Webhook receipts are kept 30 days with no payload. Usage aggregates are kept 90 days.

Uninstall

Uninstalling the app deletes app-owned data and sessions. It does not remove native Shopify disclosure entries, disclosure metaobjects, or product assignments from your store; those remain in Shopify.
